Former information systems and business communications professor Tim O’Keefe has been appointed the University of North Dakota School of Entrepreneurship interim director. The announcement was made by the school’s Provost, Thomas DiLorenzo, earlier this week.
The new School of Entrepreneurship at UND resides within the overarching College of Business and Public Administration. Having officially been approved in May earlier this year, Dean Dennis Elbert of the College of Business mentioned the entrepreneurship school currently has three faculty members and more on the way.
A school with a specific focus on entrepreneurship will pave the way for increased startup activity and recognition in the North Dakota region, adding to the present efforts of many to make it a hub for ideas and creativity.
