About Sarah and The Travel Escape Room

Sarah Carlisle is the owner and Founder of Travel Escape Room, North Dakota, and Minnesota’s first mobile escape room servicing the entirety of both states. Sarah is a Minnesota State University Moorhead graduate with a BS degree in Elementary Education and a specialty in Middle School Science. After completing her first escape room, Sarah had the idea of utilizing this interactive activity as a team-building opportunity for her workplace. Sarah not only wanted to have her team experience the escape rooms, but she also wanted to create it herself.

Sarah’s first room was a huge success, which led her to make another the following year. When her office shut down, she decided to play it safe or take a risk and begin her entrepreneurial journey. As an individual who would typically play it safe, she decided to take a different route, and that’s when Travel Escape Room was born. “I took the leap, and I haven’t regretted it yet,” says Sarah. “Every time I do an event, no matter how small, it brings me the greatest joy. Although I have enjoyed other jobs in the past, none have had me saying, “I love this Job!” out loud as much as this one does.”

Sarah has a passion for helping people work together, especially in the workplace. Finding an interactive activity, such as an escape room, allows individuals to see their team win in a fun and compelling manner, motivating individuals to work together to achieve a common goal. Though Travel Escape Room was created with a mission of team building, they cater to numerous other interests, such as birthday parties, proms, fairs, and more.

Travel Escape Room is the escape room that’s going places. Enjoy this interactive, collaborative activity with friends, family, or your work colleagues, and let the fun come to you. Travel with Travel Escape Room by following along with them on social media:
