Specialisterne, an international social enterprise that provides tech-focused jobs to individuals with autism and similar challenges, has announced the forthcoming opening of a new office in Fargo, ND.  The organization has also appointed Tony Thomann as the first Executive Director of its Midwest division, covering ND, SD, MN, MT, WI and IA.

“I believe that the Midwest is a perfect entry point for Specialisterne in the US,” said Local Coordinator, Tim Hanson. “The first site in the Midwest, which will be located in Fargo, ND, is an IT hotspot. Fargo businesses have been very enthusiastic, and there is a significant need for skilled technical employees. We’re looking forward to working with start-up teams in Wisconsin, South Dakota, Montana and Iowa, to help bring Specialisterne to those states as well.”

Thomann was previously Regional Manager at Central Minnesota Jobs and Training Services.  The Fargo office of Specialisterne is slated to open in the Spring of 2014.
