About Russell Schell

“I started my technical career in the HVAC and Energy Efficiency industry in 1983 when I join the Air Force and was stationed at Hill AFB Utah. Then went onto Lockheed Missile and Space Company CA during the time the Hubble Telescope was being built. I chose to stay on the West Coast working for Johnson Controls working on many different HVAC projects that bring energy efficiencies. In 2007 me and wife Lisa thought is was time to return to North Dakota to be closer to family. In 2013 I chose to break away from the corporate world where we developed various that improve the operations and energy efficiencies of various companies. When I’m chasing BTU and Kilowatts I’m also a Shriner and we help kids with special needs, and I like spending time with m daughter Jessica, Son Josh, Grandkids Jozie, Apollo, Grady and Sinatra.”

“Providing cutting edge technology for our customers that helps them save money on energy costs and prevents downtime due to unknown equipment failure.”

 

What are some wins you’re celebrating?

“We’ve got 3 provisional patent applications one of them is being built and test at UND which brought 14 partnering various engineers. We are just hiring our official first employee since 2017 with many more hires to come. And we just got a new customer that everyone has probable heard of which is Scheels Retail stores.”

 

What is the most important lesson you’ve learned throughout your entrepreneurial journey?
