About Dieumerci
Dieumerci Christel is the founder and CEO of Enlightapp Inc. Dieumerci grew up in a refugee camp in Tanzania. Dieumerci and his family decided to immigrate to Colorado. After a year in Colorado, Dieumerci and his family moved to North Dakota.
Dieumerci attended college at NDSU. While attending college, Dieumerci founded the company, Enlightapp Inc.

This delivers “helpful ideas and insights to teachers with the intention of increasing student engagement, teacher effectiveness, and sense of belonging in the classroom.”
The mission of Enlightapp is “to lead systemic change by igniting potential and making individual empowerment a reality for every student, no matter the environment or circumstance.”
As Dieumerci reflects on the highs and lows of his entrepreneurial journey, he explains that a low point Enlightapp endured was when “We received a product that was super buggy and we couldn’t actually put it out there for teachers.”
Dieumerci shares that he has learned from his failures. One of the highest points in Dieumerci’s entrepreneurial journey is when Enlightapp was named “one of the top ideas to disrupt the education field.” Enlightapp has been notably adopted into gBeta, BETA, Headstream, and Techstars.
