About Austin
Austin Morris is a Fargo Native and the Co-Founder of Enclave. Austin shares in the strategic and operational responsibilities in the company. He is also responsible for development and investment property analysis, multifamily design oversight, partnership structures, financing, and sale-leasebacks. Austin finds himself tackling land, development, and mixed use acquisition opportunities throughout Enclave Development’s target markets. He is an impassioned real estate activist with a focus on creating value for his clients, residents and investors.

In July of 2011, Austin Morris and Ben Meland founded Enclave with a desire to bring an unmatched product and experience to the marketplace. Their desire to reimagine spaces coupled with their passion for always doing the honorable thing has resulted in developments and projects that elevate and make a lasting impact on the communities they serve. With a passion for placemaking, Enclave transforms real estate with a focus on long-term growth and vitality. Tell us about your company and your mission.
“Our mission is to create spaces where people are inspired to do their best work and live their best lives. We are a fully unified investment real estate firm with development, construction, and management in-house.
Our client varies: as a developer, we serve the community, our investor partners, and the end-user (resident/tenant/owner). As a general contractor our client can be Enclave or a 3rd party client. As a property manager, our client is our investor/owner and our resident/tenant. In the end, whoever we serve, we want to serve honorably and foster a longstanding reputation.”
What are some wins you are celebrating?
“This past year (2022) we surpassed a goal of developing, constructing and managing over one billion dollars of investment real estate. Enclave was recently honored as a top developer in the Twin Cities by Minnesota Business Journal. We also received United Way’s Rising Star accolade. Our team is super committed and sets the bar high for its clients/partners and each other!”
What is the most important lesson you’ve learned throughout your entrepreneurial journey?
“Serving relationships wisely, with integrity, humility, and care, will create and grow opportunities long into the future. Our repeat business has been paramount to our success and growth.”

“As we grow, we continue to grow our investor/partner base, and grow our capacity to pursue new land/real estate opportunities.
