The device is not designed to take the place of emergency care or regular physicals. If medication is prescribed, the provider sends the prescription electronically to the pharmacy of the patient’s choosing.
For Sanford, introducing a component like its new partnership with TytoCare means it is increasing its stake in the virtual medical market.
