Clever Mukori, CEO and founder of Learn or Teach, is an alumnus of Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. Clever enjoys singing songs that are known to make people cry and he says he’s actually a halfway decent singer! That makes Clever a man of many talents!
About Learn or Teach
Learn or Teach was founded by Clever Mukori who worked closely with West Central Minnesota Small Business Development Center in Moorhead and computer science professor at Concordia College, Dr. Lampl to get it running. Clever explains that Learn or Teach is “a cloud-based learning management system on which content creators can make courses and sell for a fee (percentage of sales). Organizations (academic and non-academic) can purchase a subscription on our platform which comes with a dedicated domain, customization/white labeling features, and e-commerce capabilities.” Overall, Learn or Teach benefits businesses, schools, students, organizations, experts, and communities.
Learn or Teach helps businesses train employees in a way that focuses on social aspects in a practical way that maximizes productivity and knowledge sharing. Learn or Teach takes the social aspect to new levels by offering students a place where they can arrange discussions, share projects, and share learning activities. It’s also a platform that provides knowledge experts, in any given field, a chance to make interactive content that curates an income. Learn or Teach was curated because of the “recognition of the disconnect between the skills gained from traditional k-16 education approaches and the competencies employers are looking for” says Clever. Not only was there a need for Learn or Teach because of the divide but also the inequities of access to a high-quality education around the world. Learn or Teach gives the learner more agency with a connection to real-world applications and a chance to think differently.
