Last month we heard how a stroke of inspiration at a burrito joint lead to two young college students developing an app called GoodSurv. Following the story, Rachel Black and Sam Jacobs spoke at 1 Million Cups and received glowing support. But of course, on the typical roller coaster of starting a company, the two have since experienced many ups and downs.

Today is a definite up.

After repeated sessions of fine tuning the app, working with Apple, and waiting patiently to hear a response, Rachel Black announced this morning that GoodSurv is now available for iOS.

“The mobile app is available for download on the App Store for all of you Apple Users!” she wrote in a Facebook post. “We already have some great updates in the works but I would be so appreciative if you could take a second to download and start SURVING!”

Sam Jacobs, co-founder, said that he is happy to see the app finally available for all users. But he knows the app has room for improvement and holds high expectations for the future of GoodSurv.

“I think this is like the first hurdle,” he said. “Now we just need to iterate and continue to make the app better.”
