Today at 1 Million Cups Fargo, Emerging Prairie announced the newest addition to its Board of Directors: Edie Ramstad, founder of Weave Got Maille and Premier Anodizing.
Edie is a goldsmith by trade, who has recently started up a chainmaille manufacturing company called Weave Got Maille. More recently, she’s opened up the first anodizing plant in the Red River Valley: Premier Anodizing.
“We couldn’t be more pleased to be adding Edie’s wealth of experience, success, and energy to our Board of Directors,” said Miguel Danielson, Emerging Prairie Board Chair. “She is truly a one-in-a-million talent that we are very lucky to have in both our community and our organization.”
Edie herself is a very vocal advocate for the startup community. The support, she said, fueled her through burnout and continues to energize her in her entrepreneurial endeavors.
“Anything I can do to celebrate entrepreneurship – I think that’s what this country is built on and what it needs is more entrepreneurs,” she said. “I can’t think of anything better to do with my time than to be on the board with Emerging Prairie. It’s such a great opportunity.”
Edie joins Emerging Prairie co-founders Greg Tehven, Miguel Danielson and Jake Joraanstad as board members.
