Emerging Prairie is excited to welcome Veronica Pavek to the team! Veronica joins us as our Events Intern, here she will assist in organizing, coordinating, and executing events while also focusing on the experience of all included! She will assist with promoting entrepreneurship and community engagement throughout the FM area.

Tell us a little bit about you!
I come from Dickinson North Dakota. I love to create; whether that is redesigning interior spaces, fashion, or creating new recipes in the kitchen! Some of my hobbies include going on walks, running, attending church events, and going to coffee shops downtown.
What college did you attend? What was your major?
I currently am working towards my Bachelors at NDSU majoring in Strategic Communications with a minor in Entrepreneurship.
What’s one activity that energizes you?
An activity that energizes me is intentional time with friends and community. I enjoy spending time with friends while going on a walk, grabbing a coffee, or hosting a dinner!
If you could take a 30 day, all expense paid vacation, where or how would you spend your time?
I would spend my time in Switzerland in a small mountain side town either hiking or skiing.
Do you have a favorite book or movie?
My comfort movie is Matilda.
What’s your favorite part about living in the FM area? What’s your favorite hidden gem that Fargo has to offer?
My favorite part about living in the FM area is how supportive the community is in providing opportunities for growth. My favorite hidden gem in Fargo are all the hidden areas to walk- specifically 8th street off of downtown.

I am running the Fargo half-marathon in June!
