Emerging Prairie is excited to welcome Nick Sinner to the team! As the Facilities Manager at Grand Farm, Nick ensures the seamless operation and maintenance of multiple sites, including those in Fargo and Casselton, ND. His role supports cutting-edge research and development initiatives in agriculture and technology by managing the physical infrastructure and ensuring it meets operational demands.

Tell us a little bit about you!
“I was born in Fargo and raised on a farm near Casselton, ND. I have 2 brothers and 4 sisters. I farmed for 20 years after college and then have had several jobs in the agricultural arena. I am married to Chris and we have 4 children, 2 are married, and we have 3 grandchildren. The Fargo/Moorhead area is home for me. I have enjoyed watching it grow and develop. I like to travel with my family, downhill ski, ride bike, hike in the woods, work with wood, golf, and play pickle ball.”
What college did you attend? What was your major?
“St. John’s University in Collegeville, MN. I have a BS in Accounting.”
What’s one activity that energizes you?
“Sailing.”
If you could take a 30 day, all expense paid vacation, where or how would you spend your time?
“I would travel to Europe with my wife and visit as many countries as I could.”
Do you have a favorite book or movie?
“The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings trilogy.”
What’s your favorite part about living in the FM area? What’s your favorite hidden gem that Fargo has to offer?
“I enjoy the variety of activities and events that are available for people to participate in.”

“I played football for St. John’s University and during my sophomore year we were the D III National Champions.
