Nickname:
Nancy Ngo
Hometown:
Fargo, ND
Why are you in Fargo?
I am a senior at NDSU. I was born and raised in Fargo. Throughout my childhood, my family has moved out of town twice only to move back to Fargo – I may be destined to be here!
What do you do in your free time?
Between homework and working, I love to spend my time with my family. I have three younger sisters, the youngest being 1 year old.
What’s your favorite hidden gem that you’ve discovered so far in Fargo?
Throughout my childhood I spent a lot of time with my friends at Teaberry, the boba smoothies are amazing! My friends and I would then go explore the boutiques downtown, one of my favorites being O’Day Cache. You can find the most random, unique treasures there.
How did you first hear of Emerging Prairie?
In high school I participated in DECA, a business club. We attended One Million Cups where we learned about the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Since then I have always been interested and attended many EP events.
As a new member of the EP team, what are you most looking forward to?
Inspiring the people who attend EP’s events in the same way that I was inspired to seek out a career in entrepreneurship from my own involvement. I’m looking forward to being a part of the excitement of entrepreneurship in Fargo!
