Emerging Prairie is excited to welcome Kaytlyn Cobb to the team! As Assistant Regional Director, Kaytlyn will oversee ecosystem development, operations, and project management functions in Georgia, working closely with local and Grand Farm network stakeholders. She will also lead partnership efforts to drive projects and activate the University of Georgia Grand Farm site, ensuring alignment with Grand Farm’s strategic goals.

Tell us a little bit about you!

“I am originally from Northeast Georgia, now I live in Macon Georgia. I am married with 2 kids! We enjoy Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves and because we live so close to Mercer University we love attending games there and hanging out downtown.”

 

What college did you attend? What was your major?

“Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC), Bachelor’s in Diversified Agriculture.”

 

What’s one activity that energizes you?


“Being outside. Quality time with people I love.”

 

If you could take a 30 day, all expense paid vacation, where or how would you spend your time?

“National Parks Adventure!”

 

 

Do you have a favorite book or movie?

“I love to read and am an avid local library user! Anything suspenseful, but I don’t know that I have a favorite. My favorite movie is Mean Girls!”

“My husband I were married on Leap Day and share a wedding anniversary with my grandparents!”

Carly Pfennig is from Bismarck, North Dakota currently studying at Minnesota State University of Moorhead for both Communications and Marketing. Carly is very passionate about forming connections within both the community as well as being the helping hand for people in need!
