Emerging Prairie is excited to welcome Jada Schwindt to the team! Jada joins us as the Experiences & Events Coordinator whereshe will connect the Start-up, Agricultural, and Tech communities through unique and interactive events.
Jada is a Fargo-Moorhead native who is passionate about uplifting her community. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a Minor in Psychology. She enjoys reaching out to the community, assessing their needs, and assisting people in achieving their goals. In her free time, she balances spending time with her family, friends, and 2 crazy cats. She loves photography, going on walks, cooking, and hosting themed dinners!

Tell us a little bit about you!
I grew up in Moorhead, MN with my mom and dad, older brother, and younger sister. I went to Moorhead High School where I participated in track and field, student council, key club, and caroling. Currently, I love hanging out with my friends, family, and 2 cats!!
What college did you attend? What was your major?
I finished my college career at MSUM and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Biology and a Psychology minor.
What’s one activity that energizes you?
Hosting a bunch of my friends for a fun game night or themed dinner!
If you could take a 30 day, all expense paid vacation, where or how would you spend your time?
I would want to maximize my travel time and try to see as much of the world as I could. I would love to go to Asia or Europe!
Do you have a favorite book or movie?
There are too many good books and movies to choose from, but my favorite books to read are romance or thriller/mystery and my favorite movie genres are comedy or action.
What’s your favorite part about living in the FM area? What’s your favorite hidden gem that Fargo has to offer?
My favorite part about living in the FM area is the summertime. I love attending community events such as the fair or concerts, and I also love going to the lakes and spending a day relaxing on the water.

Why are you excited to work for Emerging Prairie?
I am excited to work for Emerging Prairie for the atmosphere it brings to not only the community but also the workplace. I am extremely happy to be coming into a company with such an understanding and appreciation for reflecting a positive workplace culture and I am excited to dive deeper into both.
