Nickname: Emma McIntyre
Hometown: Fargo, ND!
Why are you in Fargo?
What do you do in your free time?
I LOVE projects + people. I swear I have a new hobby each week, so I currently spend the most of my free time on baking, calligraphy, and photography. While I’m at school in CO I hike was much as I have the time to. (All of these preferably with company!)
What’s your favorite hidden gem that you’ve discovered so far in Fargo?
How did you first hear of Emerging Prairie?
In high school I was involved in Fargo’s Youth Commission, Fargo Youth Initiative, and they paid for us to attend TEDxFargo. (If you can gift a young person anything, gift them access to TEDxFargo + bring them to 1MillionCups!) My freshman year of college I was reintroduced to EP after years of watching their work, and was recommended to the Intern Program by a gal I really looked up to in high school. This connection eventually led to my first summer interning on the events team!
As a new member of the EP team, what are you most looking forward to?
