Why are you in Fargo?
My dad received a promotion at his company that involved us packing up, selling our house and heading up to Fargo. I went to college at Concordia in Moorhead and decided that I wanted to stay here and start building my career in this great town.
What do you do in your free time?
Most of my free time is spent doing and teaching pole and aerial silks fitness. Several days of the week you can find me in the studio learning new tricks or just dancing. My boyfriend and I also collect and play video games.
What’s your favorite hidden gem that you’ve discovered so far in Fargo?
The thrift stores are phenomenal around here! I regularly hit them, never searching for anything specific, but I almost always come home with something fun and unique.
How did you first hear of Emerging Prairie?
I first went to 1 Million Cups Intern Day in college and regularly attended 1MC for a while. I loved the event and getting to meet people. It was inspiring to hear the stories of people who’ve started their own businesses and see the overwhelming community support.
As a new member of the EP team, what are you most looking forward to?
I’m excited to continue getting connected to the entrepreneurial ecosystem here in Fargo. I’ve always looked forward to attending Emerging Prairie events and now I can’t wait to start planning them!
