Tell us a little bit about you!
I grew up in West Fargo, ND. My whole family lives here except my dad, who lives in Tucson, AZ. He was in the military so I have lived in Fargo, Grand Forks, Arkansas, and Arizona! I have a younger brother named Memphis and two younger cousins that are basically like my siblings named Grisom and Amelia. I played volleyball in high school and college, I now coach for ND Elite in the off season for club; I also will be the Kindred High School Head Coach as well! I met my boyfriend Jacob at MSUM club volleyball and we have two Pitbull mixes named Nova and Echo.
What college did you attend? What was your major?
I attended Minnesota State University Moorhead for a Communications Major with Emphasis’ in Training & Development and Event Planning, I also have a Masters in Educational Leadership – Higher education/student affairs at Minnesota State Community and Technical College, I also have an American Sign Language Certificate.
What’s one activity that energizes you?
Volleyball or shopping!
If you could take a 30 day, all expense paid vacation, where or how would you spend your time?
I would travel the world since I have never been out of the country, or spend it with my family on a road trip
Do you have a favorite book or movie?
My favorite movie is either Grease, Dirty Dancing, or Hairspray. My favorite book is Tuck Everlasting.
What’s your favorite part about living in the FM area? What’s your favorite hidden gem that Fargo has to offer?
I love the small town, big city vibe that we have. It is so unique to have all the opportunities, growth, and networking experiences that larger cities have but we are way smaller. My favorite hidden gem is probably Drunkin Noodle or Kobes; also the bikes at Linden-wood park!
Tell us one random fact about yourself!
I got an internship at American Ballet Theatre in New York and won a scholarship for living expenses while there, but had to do it all remotely due to Covid! (I knew nothing about ballet and had only been to New York once before interviewing for this internship haha
Why are you excited to work for Emerging Prairie?
I am excited for the opportunity to connect with the Fargo-Moorhead community more. I think Emerging Prairie has great employees and I am excited to connect with everyone and get to know them better!
