Emerging Prairie is excited to welcome Jenna Radtke to the team! Jenna joins us as the Student Life and Recruitment Coordinator for Emerging Digital Academy. Jenna will be responsible for admissions, onboarding, and student support in their coding bootcamp program. Her role will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure a seamless onboarding process and student success within the Full Stack Engineering program.

Tell us a little bit about you!
I grew up on a dairy farm in rural Bejou, MN. I came to the FM area for college and fell in love with its charm. My hobbies include playing board games with friends and family, obsessing over my favorite music, and eating ice cream.
What college did you attend? What was your major?
I attended NDSU and received my Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Education then went on to attend Fort Hays State University in Hays, KS for my Master’s degree in Higher Education.
What’s one activity that energizes you?
Playing Board Games!
If you could take a 30 day, all expense paid vacation, where or how would you spend your time?
I would probably want to spend the time playing through every board game I could! I also love to swim, so I’d want the gaming to happen somewhere with a pool!
Do you have a favorite book or movie?
I always say my favorite movie is the Back to the Future trilogy, but my friends insist that watching 10 Things I Hate About You 10+ times in a year would qualify it as my actual favorite.
What’s your favorite part about living in the FM area? What’s your favorite hidden gem that Fargo has to offer?
I really like the size of Fargo. It’s big enough that there’s always something going on and things to do, while not having too much hustle and bustle like in bigger cities. My favorite hidden gem is at the FM Visitors Center. While folks likely know that this is the home of the actual woodchipper from the Coen Brothers’ movie, they may not know that there is also a “Walk of Fame” where celebrities who have visited Fargo have left their foot and handprints!
